I kickstarted this and received the zine. I enjoyed coloring all of the drawings and adding my own as I developed the life of my little animal. It's purposefully simple, and I found it very calming during a hectic time in my life.
Thank you, I am very excited to play this together with my kids. Is it best to print 2-sided pages or 1 sided for the zine-format to come out right? Thanks!
Hey, sorry for the delay in replying! You should print double-sided for it to turn out right. If your printing software asks, tell it to "flip on the short side"
This is such an excellent little journaling game. The text gives very good guidance to bring each day of your animal friend to life. I tried to do a version of this without the text as I didn't have the spare cash for weeks, and while that was helpful, the zine provides the necessary structure for better immersion and a far fuller experience without being overwhelming.
